New Features

• New Contact System - no more duplicate contacts. If you already have duplicate contacts:
1) Choose one of these contacts to be the definitive contact
2) Go through students with this contact and delete the duplicate
3) Add the definitive contact using the search box on add new contact
4) Updating the definitive contact will now update that contact on all students.
5) Please email support@scholarpack.com if you have queries or issues with the new contacts system.

ScholarPack @ BETT 2012!

We have been busy working on the next update of ScholarPack that we will be releasing over the Christmas Period. It will bring a huge range of new features, and many improvements, which also ties in with our next bit. We are going to the BETT 2012 Show! Come and see us, and we can show you what a true web based and cloud hosted solution has to offer!

Happy Halloween & ScholarPack Version 4 Released!

We would like to wish you all a Happy Halloween from the ScholarPack team. It has been a busy few weeks since our last update and we have come with a SpookyPack release to celebrate the holiday. Below is the release log which contains many of the changes made in ScholarPack to make it to Version 4.

New Features

• Medical Report Added in student reporting
• Ancillary Supporting Assessment including IQ scores, Spelling, Vocab, Reading and Maths on entry can now be recorded against a students profile in the students profile on the support page.
• New Registers edit pages have been added into the register tab to supersede previous versions - Manage by Class, Manage a Student and Manage a Year. This version now looks more like a paper based one to keep familiarity.
• Review dates have been added in Student Reporting to allow you to see if/when review dates are centrally.
• Languages report - you can now see all spoken languages in the school recorded against the students profiles. This is found in reporting > support > student reporting.
• Emails can now be sent from the contacts in the student profiles by simply clicking on the email address and it will open in your default email package.
• Late before registers close is now an option for teachers when taking their register.
• A paramedical report has been added to the reporting section to see all students with paramedical needs in student reporting.
• All Teachers Classes report added in Reporting > Teacher > Class Lists.
• A In care report has been added so you see all students in care.
• A disabilities report has been added to student reporting.
• A SEN Report has been added to student reporting.
• An Admissions Register has been added into student reporting to allow the view of all students that have been in the school.
• Created a Support Tab in student reporting which now comprises a lot of the newly added reports!
• Added temporary tutor in extended details.
• There is now an IEP report on the Support page in reporting.
• Added a Dietary Requirements report to Student Reporting Page.
• Ad Hoc Report ordered by club and now can remove a student.
• Messages portlet expanded to 40% from 34%. Register portlet decreased from 31% to 25%.
• The staff work force census is now in place, in the staff module.
• Register Module overhaul - now manage the school register using Register > Manage Group.
• A panic button has been added to the dash board in the space created by shrinking the calendar. This sends a message to all staff if there is a problem that you need help with e.g. fight in a class room etc.
• A full school standards monitor has now been added to reporting so you can see everyone at in one page and what they are being watched for.
• Lots of new graphic reports have been added for attendance reporting in the Register > Statistics area.
• There is a new assessment graph where you can see all the students on or missing their target now built into the assessment page.

ScholarPack Version 4

ScholarPack Version 4 is due to be released at a Spooky time this year following the half term period. There are a substantial number of changes as well as additional functionality being added into this release. The release log will be posted on here at the time of the release.

New Twitter Account

We have just opened a twitter account so you can follow us to find our all our latest news. Follow ScholarPack on Twitter

New Website

We are pleased to announce our new website is now released along with our new logo. Our website will now be our hub for release notes and information updates to keep everyone informed of what is going on with ScholarPack. Just to let all schools know - It's Census day tomorrow! Our census module is located in Admin > Facilities > Census Control Panel!

ScholarPack version 3!

Version 3 of ScholarPack has now been released and includes all of the updates introduced over the summer period. ScholarPack now benefits from significant interface improvements with superior functionality and new modules such as debits have been added. We also have a new report card system so pupils on report will show up on the much enhanced lesson by lesson registration.

New Schools

We would like to welcome all the new schools using ScholarPack this academic year coming. Schools include New Eccles Hall, Castle Carrock, Langley Hall Primary Academy, Maharashi Free School, Stage Stars.
